Re Do Your Hue Day

Miss District of Columbia USA 2013 Pageant 

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to compete in the Miss District of Columbia USA 2013 pageant; preliminaries to the 2013 Miss USA pageant. It was a wonderful experience and at the close of the event, I placed 2nd runner up to the beautiful winner, Jessica Frith. Over the three day weekend, contestants had to undergo panel interviews with the judges and compete in swimsuit and evening gown competitions on stage.
With that said, I had to look my best at all times, and because of my sponsorship from Indique, I was able to do so with ease.
During pageant weekend, I wore Indique’s Pure Wavy in 20inches. This hair was BEYOND amazing for it required low maintenance and looked FABULOUS! My Indique Pure Wavy was installed Thursday evening and curled that night. At night I separated the hair into four parts and flexi-roded it to hold the curls in tact. The next morning, I had beautiful long drop curls and I was ready to arrive pageant weekend looking fabulous for interview.
For my on stage swimsuit and evening gown competitions, I parted the hair into six parts and flexi-roded the hair to keep it in tact. When I took the rods out, the Curls were tighter and the hair looked fuller! For swimsuit, I styled the hair with a side part and pulled the hair to the font with some in the back. For evening gown, I style the hair with a side part and pulled the hair all the way to one side to display the beautiful locks of curls.
This entire weekend was done with such ease, I had no trouble at all. I woke up every morning, unroded the hair, and slightly shook my head to loosen the curls. My flat iron, curling iron, nor wand had been touched all weekend! It was as if this was my own hair!
Indique’s Pure Wavy blends so well with my hair that I received numerous compliments on how amazing my hair looked and often had people think it was my own! This is such a big difference from any other brand of hair extensions I’ve worn. After my experience wearing Indique, it will be the only brand that I will ever wear; the quality is amazing!

“This is the hair that I won from the Indique Bounce Curl Contest. Since I won, I wanted to provide a review. I love this hair. It was installed by Mo-Mo Haitiandiva Morilus of HDStylez. It’s a full head sew in with no leave out. The curl texture is slightly tighter than the bounce curl used to be, but i like it better. The tighter curl pattern in no way affects the amount of strand loss, in fact, despite the kinkier pattern, I lose less strands than any other brand of hair I’ve used. In the picture on the top left, this was before I washed it for the first time. After I washed it the first time (I did a twist out that day, see top right pic), the hair begins to look more and more natural with each wash (see the bottom right and bottom left for pics of the hairs natural “wash and go” texture). People just assume this is my hair. Washing is such an easy process. Detangling takes less than 5 minutes, and all I do is blowdry the roots to make sure my braided hair underneath is dry. I would definitely recommend this hair and would definitely purchase it in the future, although I don’t think I will need to do that anytime soon, as the hair is holding up magnificently.
