Women Making History Contest Winners!

In celebration of Women’s History Month, Indique Hair teamed up with radio personality K. Foxx of Hot 97’s “Cipha Sounds and Rosenberg Show with K. Foxx,” to present the Women Making History Makeover Contest during March 2012. The month long contest gave individuals the opportunity to nominate a phenomenal woman who was making a positive difference in the lives of others by writing an essay describing her accomplishments. Contestants tuned in to Hot 97FM to hear K. Foxx announce the weekly winner every Thursday at 9AM.

Winners received an Indique hair makeover with celebrity hair stylist Jawara Wauchope, a makeup session with Ketta Vaughn of Ketta Vaughn Cosmetics, a manicure provided by Ginger + Liz Colour Collection, a styling session with Polly Foo of Polly Foo Styling Services, and a photo shoot to capture her new look. Chanel Resort 2012-2013

Have you ever wondered what Marie Antoinette would have looked like as a 90’s punk rockstar, a summer beach babe, or a casual sportif chick? Well Karl Lagerfeld mostly certainly has and he recently brought his imagination to life in his latest collection for legendary fashion house Chanel. The label’s 2012/2013 resort show was held at the palace of Versailles in Paris last week and featured pastel hair, makeup, and clothing, menswear inspired denim, chunky platform sneakers, and the Chanel logo placed as beauty marks on the models’ faces.
