Fashion Trend Alert- The Pajamas Trend

The fashion blogs went crazy when Rihanna stepped out in Pajamas for the world premiere of her new film Battleship. After investigating I found that this is indeed the Spring/Summer 2012 fashion trend. It was shown during fashion week by designers like Stella McCartney, Emillio Pucci, and Louis Vuitton. So ladies what do you say yay or nay? Whatever your verdict, sleepwear-inspired style is seriously hot right now.

The Peter Pan Collar...Timeless Fashion

A popular staple from the early 1900’s era, the Peter Pan Collar has always been a timeless classic. The flat, round-cornered collar, was named after the collar of the costume worn in 1905 by actress Maude Adams in her role as Peter Pan. This year we see it revamp itself as an enormous spring fashion must have.  We recommend pairing it with a cute skirt and peep toe chunky heels or a cute colorful pair of shorts and nice flats. 

Gabrielle: SEA Zen Straight

I’ve been browsing through tons of fashion blogs and constantly noticing those fluorescent old school style satchels from many fashion bloggers. This “it bag” is from the The Cambridge Satchel Company and prices ranges from  $130-170. This is perfect for the spring color blocking trend or just  to add a pop of color to any outfit. There’s something very alluring about such a classic design in such a edgy colourway.
