Dedicated fans of both Angela Simmons & Indique Hair camped out at 1:30 am anticipating the arrival of Angela! The first 10 people recieved a tube of BIKINI, while 30 other lucky fans received a tube of hair from the BOUNCE Collection. In celebration of Women’s History Month, Indique Hair teamed up with radio personality K. Foxx of Hot 97’s “Cipha Sounds and Rosenberg Show with K. Foxx,” to present the Women Making History Makeover Contest during March 2012. The month long contest gave individuals the opportunity to nominate a phenomenal woman who was making a positive difference in the lives of others by writing an essay describing her accomplishments. Contestants tuned in to Hot 97FM to hear K. Foxx announce the weekly winner every Thursday at 9AM.
Winners received an Indique hair makeover with celebrity hair stylist Jawara Wauchope, a makeup session with Ketta Vaughn of Ketta Vaughn Cosmetics, a manicure provided by Ginger + Liz Colour Collection, a styling session with Polly Foo of Polly Foo Styling Services, and a photo shoot to capture her new look. Last night, the Billboard Music Awards was entertaining and filled with great fashion moments! Some of our favorite looks of the night were Taylor Swift, Monica, and Alicia Keys! Taylor Swift wore a great long red ensemble with beautiful lace cutouts. Monica’s all white long sleek dress with a peek-a-boo cutout along her bust was sexy & sophisticated. Her clutch and great pink lip also completed this look. And last, but not least, Alicia Keys’ gorgeous braided updo added fun and flair to her long black dress!

Donna Summer, the Queen of Disco who ruled the airwaves with hits like Love to Love You Baby, On the Radio, Hot Stuff, and She Works Hard for the Money, died of cancer today at age 63.
As her songs became landmarks of a generation, her beauty queen looks and amazing hair kept her as a beauty inspiration of many women throughout the decades. Her luscious mane was as captivating as her voice during live performances and is the epitome of 70s glamour.
